T.I. Compares Donald Trump's Campaign To Organized Crime

American presidential candidate Trump recently made headlines when he suggested that he would pay the legal fees for a man who punched a protestor at one of his events. In a recent interview with TMZ, American hip hop recording artist and actor TI/TIP, has more comments for the presidential candidate Donald Trump. "If I stand on a certain platform and I use my money and my influence to tell all the people that follow me, 'Hey guess what, if you go and hurt those people, I will pay your legal fees. If you do this for me, I will make sure you're straightened out,'" T.I. stated, "that's no different than how they view the leaders of some of the organized crime syndicates. So what he's doing is really illegal." He was asked by the reporter if he would want a supporter of Trump to support his career.
"I don't want him to buy my music," T.I. says. "I'd rather he didn't because I just don't think, that's not the road that I travel down. Some things are more important than money to me."

When your career reaches a certain level, there are so many responsibilities that come with that and sometimes you feel that your life is not your own anymore. That’s why I decided to change a lot of things about how I was working and try to be true to myself.”

Kobe Bryant announces his retirement

American professional basketball player Kobe Bean Bryant took to The Player’s Tribune and announced he would be retiring after this season. Read what he wrote:
Dear Basketball,
From the moment
I started rolling my dad’s tube socks
And shooting imaginary
Game-winning shots
In the Great Western Forum
I knew one thing was real:
I fell in love with you.
A love so deep I gave you my all —
From my mind & body
To my spirit & soul.
As a six-year-old boy
Deeply in love with you
I never saw the end of the tunnel.
I only saw myself
Running out of one.
And so I ran.
I ran up and down every court
After every loose ball for you.
You asked for my hustle
I gave you my heart
Because it came with so much more.
I played through the sweat and hurt
Not because challenge called me
But because YOU called me.
I did everything for YOU
Because that’s what you do
When someone makes you feel as
Alive as you’ve made me feel.
You gave a six-year-old boy his Laker dream
And I’ll always love you for it.
But I can’t love you obsessively for much longer.
This season is all I have left to give.
My heart can take the pounding
My mind can handle the grind
But my body knows it’s time to say goodbye.
And that’s OK.
I’m ready to let you go.
I want you to know now
So we both can savor every moment we have left together.
The good and the bad.
We have given each other
All that we have.
And we both know, no matter what I do next
I’ll always be that kid
With the rolled up socks
Garbage can in the corner
:05 seconds on the clock
Ball in my hands.
5 … 4 … 3 … 2 … 1
Love you always,
Kobe

Uzo Aduba Covers UPTOWN Magazine

American actress Uzo Aduba is featured on the front cover of UPTOWN Magazine. Uzo Aduba shared with the magazine during an interview,
Excerpts below:
On her motivation:
My parents were less interested in what the pursuit was, so long as you pursued it with excellence. That is really the Nigerian mentality: putting your best self into it. It’s not about being number one, but no Nigerian parent will ever complain about that! My mom always said ‘I have never heard of nothing coming from hard work. I don’t know when it will come, but it will come.’
On Those she appreciate for believing in her and molding her image, she said:
When I first started, I met with different agents that tried to fix me in some way, which implied that something was wrong. I appreciate, respect and enjoy the person that I see in the mirror. I have always wanted to be surrounded by people who also appreciate those things. From my lawyer to my glam team, they enjoy me as Uzo and where I stand today. There has never been any pressure to be more or else than who I am.
Asked if success is her validation, she said:
I would not necessarily call it a validation in that context because that makes it seem as if I am seeking validation outside of myself. To some degree we all are, but more than that, I feel grateful that the work is being recognized. And not just my own, but the work of the entire cast and the type of show and who is on it, frankly. [Laughs] It is outside of the norm. To see women of color, gender stories, orientation stories actually proves a hypothesis: that an audience exists for the stories we are telling.
On if success has affected her:
It has afforded me opportunities. I am here working on this incredible movie right now with Oscar-nominated actors which is a direct result of my work on Orange. Before, if someone called my name on the street, I knew that the person knew me. [Laughs] Now, if someone calls my name they may not know me, but they are very clear on what my name is and my resume! That’s new. My family dynamic and dear friends have not changed. I have been introduced to amazing people that I have looked up to and respected over the years and to now call them colleagues and friends is amazing. But, really, as far as my personal life, the only thing that has changed is my apartment!

Will Smith to go into politics

American actor, producer, rapper, and songwriter Will Smith has hinted he wants to run for office ‘in the near future’. He told Scott Feinberg of the podcast Awards Chatter: ‘I’m working really hard and my storytelling is elevating, my ability to be eloquent with my body and with my voice and to deliver ideas as an actor is elevating.
‘And, you know, as I look at the political landscape, I think that there might be a future out there for me. They might need me out there.
‘This is the first year that I’ve been incensed to a level that I can’t sleep, you know?’ he continued.
‘So I’m feeling that at some point, in the near future, I will have to lend my voice to the conversation in a somewhat different way.’
He added: ‘America’s the only place on earth that I could exist. No other country on earth produces Will Smiths, you know.’
‘if you look back historically, of how black people have had it on the planet, America is elevating quite well, based on the history of our people.’ he adds.

Jessica Alba Covers The Edit Magazine

American actress, model and businesswoman Jessica Marie Alba heats up the latest cover of The Edit magazine. She discusses what it feels like to be the female CEO of The Honest Company- “You feel like a lone wolf surrounded by men who have done it all before.”
Alba adds, “I’ve actually felt this more in the entertainment industry. People never say a male actor is difficult, they call him smart, but if a woman did the same thing, she would be considered a b*h. I find it funny when I get called ambitious! I’ve even had my agents do intros and say ‘She’s a very ambitious young lady.’ And I’m always like ‘What the fk does that mean?!”

Jennifer Lawrence Named Entertainment Weekly’s Entertainer Of The Year

American actress Jennifer Shrader Lawrence has been named Entertainment Weekly’s entertainer Of the year. Lawrence told EW, “It’s crazy. I signed on to these projects when I was 20 years old. I remember being like, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to be 25 when I’m finished. It seemed so far away… It does feel over. It didn’t for a while and I didn’t think it would ever sink in, but it has now. It feels over. And that’s okay. It’s okay to move on.”

Bella Thorne Covers Seventeen magazine

American actress, singer, and model Annabella Avery known as Bella Thorne is featured on the cover of Seventeen magazine’s December 2015/January 2016 issue. Thorne shared with the mag, On not having her driver’s license:
“No, not yet. I don’t have my permit either. I have a fear of driving. My father died in motorcycle accident. I’m not mature enough to accept the responsibility of perhaps taking someone else’s life.”
On what she’s learned from past relationships:
“An ex of mine and I knew each other’s phone passwords, and he was constantly going through my phone. I learned not to do that because anything can be misread. Gregg has my password, but he doesn’t go through my phone. The ex and I also had a 'Don’t talk to the opposite sex' rule, so if a guy I was working with wrote me, it would be a big problem.”
On mean girls:
“I have a mean girl. She’s in the business, and she’s very, very mean. I stay away from her at all costs. I never say hello to her. Her siblings are not mean like she is. It’s just her. One of the reasons I don’t like her is because she’s been a billionaire since she was very little, and she’s never had to work for anything in her life.”
On having to live off food stamps:
“I don’t think anybody really knew—it wasn’t a very obvious thing. I’ve never really talked about it. I wasn’t hiding it, and it wasn’t like, 'Oh, I’m embarrassed because we don’t have money.' It was, 'Oh, we don’t have money, so we’re going to work that much harder.' It was scary, though, because you really want those jobs. It’s a different hunger when you want your family to eat.”

My interest is in the performance. There was always talk that those scenes weren’t going to be in the movie, but I wanted to do it regardless.”
