Will Smith Speaks On his Marriage

American actor, producer, rapper, and songwriter Will Smith spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how they keep their relationship so strong.
‘We’ve been married 20 years and we’ve been asking ourselves [what’s the secret to marriage] and really at the end of the day it’s just not quitting,’ You can’t expect it to be easy,’ It’s like our marriage was the most difficult, grueling, excruciating thing that we have ever taken on in our lives. And you know we’re just not quitters.
‘I would say is that we never went into working on our relationship,’ ‘We only ever worked on ourselves individually, and then presented ourselves to one another better than we were previously.’

Will Smith to go into politics

American actor, producer, rapper, and songwriter Will Smith has hinted he wants to run for office ‘in the near future’. He told Scott Feinberg of the podcast Awards Chatter: ‘I’m working really hard and my storytelling is elevating, my ability to be eloquent with my body and with my voice and to deliver ideas as an actor is elevating.
‘And, you know, as I look at the political landscape, I think that there might be a future out there for me. They might need me out there.
‘This is the first year that I’ve been incensed to a level that I can’t sleep, you know?’ he continued.
‘So I’m feeling that at some point, in the near future, I will have to lend my voice to the conversation in a somewhat different way.’
He added: ‘America’s the only place on earth that I could exist. No other country on earth produces Will Smiths, you know.’
‘if you look back historically, of how black people have had it on the planet, America is elevating quite well, based on the history of our people.’ he adds.

Will Smith's 'Focus' opens with $19.1 million to win U.S. box office

Will Smith's new action drama "Focus" booted the kinky sex tale "Fifty Shades of Grey" for its perch atop U.S. and Canadian weekend box office charts, racking up $19.1 million in ticket sales.

Smith, in his first leading role since 2013's "After Earth," plays a seasoned con artist who meets up with an aspiring con artist, played by Margot Robbie, in the romance-caper film hybrid.

"Kingsman: The Secret Service", an adaptation of a popular comic series which stars Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Firth about a spy agency's training program and a global threat by a tech genius, also outpaced "Grey" to claim second place with $11.8 million.

Third place on a weekend that saw business hampered by rough winter weather in the south and midwest again went to the family-friendly "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water", based on the popular television show about a talking animated sponge. It sold $11.2 million in tickets.

"Grey," the smash hit adaptation of the best-selling novel which stars James Dornan and Dakota Johnson as the libidinous couple, took in $10.9 million, landing in fourth from Friday through Sunday, according to studio estimates. The film is closing in on $148 million at the domestic box office since opening just over two weeks ago.

Rounding out the top five, "The Lazarus Effect," which stars Mark Duplass and Olivia Wilde as researchers trying to resurrect the dead, took the No. 5 spot on its opening weekend with $10.6 million in sales. Source: Reuters.com

Will Smith Says His Rich Son Jaden Smith Has Only One Pair Of Shoes

In a recent interview with Esquire Magazine, Hollywood actor, Will Smith revealed his youngest son, Jaden Smith, has just one pair of
shoes. Why? Because Jaden simply refuses to be a “slave to money,” and doesn’t want to feel like he needs anything material that badly.
With the young boy making a name for himself recently for being so odd, Will gave a bit of insight into the way his youngest son thinks. He
told Esquire:
"You never lose the mentality. It’s such a strange thing. Jaden, my sixteen-year-old, he has one pair of shoes. He has three pair of pants and he has five shirts Total.
He has refused to be a slave to money, i so respect that. The younger generation is less of an ownership generation, anyway.
And it’s such an interesting thing to
watch, because I came from a middle- class background, but, you know, our lights and gas would be cut off from not paying the bill.
I grew up in a house where you would need the kerosene heaters in the winter in case the bills didn’t get paid. And he’s from the complete other end of the spectrum. And it’s so interesting to me that from growing up in that space, he could see the need for things in a way
that he’s rejecting.
He’s like, “I’m not gonna let myself need things in that way” — but I would like him to get another pair of shoes.''
