Daisy shared with the magazine stating, “We were told about this scorpion in Abu Dhabi that, if it stabbed you, you needed treatment within half an hour. There was this bit where I was lying in the sand, and if a scorpion got me, the nearest hospital was an hour away. So I was like, I could die right now. I could be dead in half an hour.”
Daisy also noted that when she scored the role, she had to keep quiet about it- “I couldn’t tell any of my friends. I told my mum and my sisters— then my sister told her boyfriend, and my mum told her friend. I was like, ‘Great, guys—you are great.’”

Barrack Obama Covers OUT100 Magazine

44th President of the United States, Barrack Obama graces the cover of OUT100 Magazine.

The President had an interview with the magazine, in which he touched on various influences on his relationship with the LGBT community as well as his administration’s accomplishments on LGBT rights.

Excerpts below:
On the first person he met that was gay :
I’m not sure who the first openly gay person I met was, but Dr. Lawrence Goldyn, one of my college professors, is a man who stands out to me. I took his class freshman year at Occidental. I was probably 18 years old — Lawrence was one of the younger professors — and we became good friends. He went out of his way to advise lesbian, gay, and transgender students at Occidental, and keep in mind, this was 1978. That took a lot of courage, a lot of confidence in who you are and what you stand for. I got to recognize Lawrence last year at our Pride Month reception at the White House, and thank him for influencing the way I think about so many of these issues.
On how his daughters react to homophobia :
To Malia and Sasha and their friends, discrimination in any form against anyone doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t dawn on them that friends who are gay or friends’ parents who are same-sex couples should be treated differently than anyone else. That’s powerful. My sense is that a lot of parents across the country aren’t going to want to sit around the dinner table and try to justify to their kids why a gay teacher or a transgender best friend isn’t quite as equal as someone else. That’s also why it’s so important to end harmful practices like conversion therapy for young people and allow them to be who they are. The next generation is spurring change not just for future generations, but for my generation, too. As president, and as a dad, that makes me proud. It makes me hopeful.
On deciding to make LGBT equality a part of his administration:
This really goes back to when I was a kid, because my mom instilled in me the strong belief that every person is of equal worth. At the same time, growing up as a black guy with a funny name, I was often reminded of exactly what it felt like to be on the outside. One of the reasons I got involved in politics was to help deliver on our promise that we’re all created equal, and that no one should be excluded from the American dream just because of who they are. That’s why, in the Senate, I supported repealing DOMA [the Defense of Marriage Act]. It’s why, when I ran for president the first time, I publicly asked for the support of the LGBT community, and promised that we could bring about real change for LGBT Americans.

Gwen Stefani Covers InStyle Magazine

Gwen Stefani is the cover girl for InStyle magazine’s December 2015 issue. Gwen Stefani shared with the magazine, "I didn't tour at all. But I did record the No Doubt album, which was super hard. I was torn the whole time. Every day I would take the kids to school, drive to Santa Monica, work on the album, and then I'd think, 'Oh my god, if I don't leave by 2:30, I'm not gonna get home in time for dinner.' And Gavin being on tour… I'm not gonna say there weren't some incredible moments making that album. But it was a lot of knocking my head against the wall. A lot of struggle."
Gwen adds, found a trusted friend in Pharrell Williams- "He helped me with a lot of stuff. I was in a closed-off period before that – I couldn't write, and I didn't feel confident. There were hard times before the baby, personally, that were just not good. And then having Apollo, and being on the show, and being refreshed: It was just like, 'Whoa!' I'm in a really positive place now."

Michael B. Jordan Covers GQ Magazine

Discussing the issue with GQ magazine, Michael B. Jordan says, "It's the world we live in. They see white and black. I don't.
"A lot of black fans were feeling like, 'Oh, my God, he should have been with a black woman' and that whole thing. I get it, but on the other hand it's, like, relax. You know - it's 2015. It's OK! People can like one another, not necessarily from the same history or culture or whatever the f**k it is."
Jordan goes on to deny any romance between himself and Jenner, "Kendall's a friend of mine, you know. I don't know her, like, that well, but I know her enough. People's perspective on that is what it is." He states, "I try and be focused. I told myself at a young age that I would sacrifice all my 20s to my work. I'm 28. I've got a year and a half left.
"I understand what females want and need, you know. I'm good at that. I don't know if I'm the guy to give it to them right now. I'm emotionally unavailable. Until I find something that's so undeniable that I can't help myself."
