William Asiedu resigns from Daily Graphic

Ace award winning Entertainment Journalist William Asiedu has resigned from his position at the Graphic Communications Group. He made his resignation public on his Instagram page. William posted a #throwback picture of Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Group CEO Bolaray with the caption below.
“I’m leaving my job at Ghana’s leading media house, Graphic Communications Group, to work with this guy, who has just started a new media enterprise in Ghana. I like his audacity and drive. Watch this space…… "

Dimeji Alara reveals why he left Genevieve magazine

In an interview with Made Edit November 2015 Edition, Freelance Journalist | Fashion Director Dimeji reveals why he left Genevieve magazine. Explaining what happened, Dimeji said; "The truth is, I love being alive. And I love feeling free. So if I can't have those things, then I feel like a caged animal, and I'd rather not be in a cage. It’s tough as a creative person to give your best when you have very little time to create, especially when your work becomes commercial and people expect you to constantly churn out your best every month. As a creative person, you do need time to vet your ideas, love and hate them, scrap and come up with something else. I barely had that time at Genevieve, everything was moving so fast, and I was dealing with exhaustion. I started hating everything I created and couldn’t even stand the sight of it. And for me I believe that whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well. When you reach that point where you feel you are not giving your best, you have to take a step back, take a deep breath and look inwards, at least till you can figure out yourself and put your mind back on track. People expect you to create magic, which isn’t possible if your mind is not at the right place. That said, I did have the opportunity to work with some amazing people at Genevieve, people I’m still very much in touch with till today, and I’m very grateful for that. I had a very understanding publisher too, even though we didn't always agree.

Ghanaian Sports Journalist Juliet Bawuah Leaves TV3

Young Ghanaian female Sports Journalist Juliet Bawuah has resigned from TV3. In a post on her personal Facebook page, Bawuah said her exit “marked an end to an exciting yet challenging journey that started over two years ago.” Juliet said: “Last week, I resigned officially from my Broadcast Journalist job at TV3. The decision to exit was a tough one but I had to all the same….I am grateful to the management and my former colleagues for the incredible time spent.” She added, “I thank God for the provision of strength, and grace. In the next few days, I will begin the process of working towards a different chapter in my very young media career. Thank you.”
