TLC's Kickstarter campaign to make a new album is $5,000 closer to its fundraising goal thanks to Katy Perry. The remaining two members of TLC, T-Boz and Chili have asked their fans to contribute for their final album. They needed $150k for the new album and have set up a Kickstarter crowd funding page to raise the album. So far, they have managed to raise $55k.
People who contribute stand to receive some prizes from the singers. For $5, you get an
exclusive Kickstarter remixed single! For a $10, you’ll receive a PDF file of a list of TLC’s favorite songs. For $15, you get a digital copy of the
album. And for $5k, you get a slumber party with T-Boz or Chili.
The "Roar" songstress is such a big fan ... she dug into her own pockets and shelled out 5 grand for the cause.
One of the perks for a $5k donation is a slumber party in L.A. with T-Boz ... so we could be in for some epic selfies. As of this posting, the girls are still a little more than $44,000 shy of their $150,000 goal.
