Arnold Schwarzenegger named new host of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

Actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been named the new host of ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’
NBC has announced Schwarzenegger will fill the shoes left empty after Donald Trump was
fired following controversial statements he made about Mexican immigrants early this summer. As the news spread across social media, Schwarzenegger responded on Twitter: “Wow. I’m blown away and honored by all your tweets. I can’t wait to bring my experience to the board room & raise millions for charity,” he wrote. NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt said Trump will never return as host of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice.’ Which he stated: “He is a lovely guy. He was very much a collaborator and worked with us closely on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ and, you know, there’s a really effusive great guy. We weren’t in any sort of adversarial position.”
