Akon launches academy to help African with electricity

American singer and senegal born Akon, aims to bring electricity to
600 million Africans who lacks it.
As the launching of a new Solar Academy" for the continent.
The institution, scheduled to open this summer in Bamako, Mali's capital, will try to give African engineers and entrepreneurs the
skills needed to develop solar power. The institution aims to give africans powered electricity and teach them
how to install and maintain it Akon Lighting Africa said.
