Satirist and movies director KSM, known in real life as Kwaku Sintim-Misa, has disclosed that he turned down talented actor Majid Michel when he came to audition for him.
“Do you know who auditioned for me that I didn’t hire? Majid [Michel]. I turned down Majid,” KSM revealed during an interview on the Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM Friday.
He revealed that he turned down the actor because he was not fit for the role of the project he was working on.
KSM made the revelation when he was reacting to reports that highlife musician KK Fosu said he has regretted not helping rapper Sarkodie when he could have done so when the rapper wanted his help.
The highlife musician recounted that so many artistes who come through him have seen fame but one person he still regrets not helping was Sarkodie.
KK Fosu mentioned artists like Akwaboah, D-Flex and Koo The Boy as some of the musicians he has helped.
The Majid part according to KSM, “didn’t flow for me but not that he was not a good actor,” he said and explained that if “you don’t get the part it doesn’t mean you can’t act.”
