Nigerian veteran actor and lead character of the popular Soap opera, Tinsel Victor Olaotan states the reason why he left Tinsel. When asked What led to his exit from Tinsel?
He said, "Towards the end, I found out that the company was not taking care of us like they should. We were contractors and we didn’t get any bonuses. I expected that we should be able to live in big houses and drive in nice cars and these were our demands. We had deals with bigger companies and they promised to give us cars and many essential goodies but all that bottomed-out for Tinsel. I soon found out that these things were not forthcoming. I demanded what I thought was commensurate for someone like me to earn but that didn’t work out and that was how I took a walk".
Since you left Tinsel, what has been the biggest project you did?
"I can’t say for real, because I have done a couple of big projects like the one I am at present doing featuring Olu Jacobs, Desmond Elliot and Rachael Oniga. I have also done a few here and there".
