Dylan Penn shared with the magazine: On her view of ‘the self’: “I have a private Instagram and an official one, so I’m not opposed to social media. I’m a really private person and I don’t understand the self thing. It’s such a part of our culture now… there’s no shame in getting your camera out and getting your perfect angle. It’s bizarre to me”.
On her idea to make a film: “I would love to make a film just with girls. I think it’s important that we’re represented in a way that’s truthful. I love Lena Dunham and these ballsy women who show the ugly side (of being a girl)”. On her famous parents: “Both my parents are always very honest with me … they’re not gonna bullsh*t. They are very pushy for me to get out there and do it”.
