The first photos from the movie Southside With You , which centers around Barack and Michelle Obama’s first date, have just surfaced online. The plot of the film is described as “chronicling the summer 1989 afternoon when the future President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, wooed his future First Lady on an epic first date across Chicago’s South Side.” The film, written and directed by Richard Tanne, is currently filming in Chicago and is slated to hit theaters sometime in 2016.
