Both ladies are featured on the front of the Memorial Day issue of Hamptons magazine. "When I started, I was doing it six days a week because I was trying to get in shape for Iron Man. I remember there was a certain point
when I felt like I was going to cry. I just physically and mentally couldn’t do it anymore.
It was too hard for me. You said to me, ‘Don’t even think of it like that. It’s not an option. It’s like brushing your teeth. You get up and do it.’ I
had such a powerful shift that day. You showed me how to take the option out of it and make it
something you do for self care as a woman who wants to feel good in her body and feel healthy and feel strong. That was a really inspirational thing that you said to me that has really helped me and that I share with other people,” said
Gwyneth.
Paltrow also shared how Tracy inspires her to keep going, telling, “You look like some kind of swimsuit model, but you’re really a scientist.
That’s how I see the Tracy Anderson lifestyle.
[You know the regimen,] the food combinations, and the best exercise clothes, but you also have such great style. All of that will be available at the new East Hampton studio.”
Meanwhile, Ms. Anderson credits Gwyn with initially showing her the Hamptons, explaining,
“Funny you should ask that of me, since you’re responsible for introducing me to [the Hamptons]. But the Hamptons is where I’ve called home for the last eight years-ever since we first started working together on your lovely bod for the first Iron Man. You, of course, have
a beautiful home in Amagansett, and were lovely enough to bring me and my family out for the summer to continue our work together. We
just have never left… My 16-year-old son, he’s an old soul; the Hamptons is such a special, charming placem- he really just got that.”
